Lasec® Education Kit's Provide a Boost for Three Western Cape Schools Sponsored by NAEF in Association with the ACCIONA/GOUDA Windfarm Corporate Social Investment Project

The Acciona/Gouda Windfarm Corporate Social Investment Project selected Roodezandt High School, Tulbagh High School and Waveren Secondary School to receive Lasec® Education Science equipment and in-service teacher training. The project was sponsored by the New Africa Education Foundation. The investment afforded Lasec® Education Natural Sciences, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences Kits to be handed over to the schools. The kits contain all the apparatus and resources required by CAPS to strengthen learner conceptual development of the subjects through hands on learning. To compliment the social investment by boosting and supporting the educators, the Lasec® Education Specialist team provided in-service teacher training in the use of the equipment and its implementation into the classroom, The teachers' who attended the day were inspired by the fun afternoon of practical knowledge sharing, and said that receiving the equipment will help to incorporate real life situations into their teaching.
